CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Get ready for a memorable Christmas Party this Sunday (12/18) from 6-8pm in the CLLC.  Plan to arrive PROMPTLY at 6pm and bring a snack to share with the group.  We'll have a snack supper before embarking on a scavenger hunt around town.  It promises to be a night of laughter, fun, and "picture perfect" memories.  Bring your friends!

Calendar note:  We will not have youth on 12/25 or 1/1.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cookies.  Cupcakes.  Chocolate covered pretzels.  Cake.  Hungry yet?  These are the sorts of things that I need YOU to bring this Sunday (12/11) to the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Parade.  Come at 4:30pm for pizza on the front lawn, and bring your plate of goodies with you!  We're hosting cookies and hot chocolate for our church family after the parade, in the CLLC.  That means we need lots of desserts to share.  So get baking!

UMYF Christmas Party: We'll be celebrating Christmas together on December 18 from 6-8pm in the CLLC.  Please bring your favorite snack to share (snack supper!).  Then, we'll divide into teams and head out on the town for a scavenger hunt in Mt. Pleasant.  It is going to be a BLAST - I promise you've never done a scavenger hunt like this before!

Calendar note:  We will not have UMYF on December 25 (Merry Christmas!) or January 1 (Happy New Year!).  Also, there will be NO Sunday School on 12/25. 

Ski Trip Reminder:  If you have registered to go on the ski trip, your final payment and paperwork is due by THIS SUNDAY (12/11)!  Please be prompt!

Hello everyone, See below for the latest announcements and events from UMYF-land:

UMYF this Sunday (12/4):  Can you name even one thing that you LOVE to wait for?  It's tough to think of something!  This Sunday from 6-8pm, we'll test your ability to wait and talk about how to EMBRACE THE WAIT of this Advent season.  All 7th - 12th graders are invited.

December schedule: Hopefully you received this info via e-mail from me earlier this week.  If not, I need your e-mail address!  Check out these December events:

• December 11:  It's the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Parade!  Family Ministries is hosting Hibben's annual pre-parade pizza party, beginning at 4pm.  EVERYONE IS INVITED to enjoy pizza, so bring your families.  Stick around for cookies and hot chocolate after the parade! 
• December 18:  UMYF Christmas Party, 6-8pm.  Bring your favorite snack to share with the group!  We'll have a snack supper before celebrating with a Christmas-themed scavenger hunt around town.
• December 25:  No UMYF, Merry Christmas!  (Please note:  there will be NO SUNDAY SCHOOL on 12/25.)
• January 1:  Your feedback is needed!  Will you be in town on January 1?  Do you want to have UMYF that night?  E-mail me and let me know!

2012 Ski Trip: If you have registered for the ski trip, the deadline for your second and final payment of $130 is December 11.  If you have not registered but would like to attend, we have ONE SPACE available.  Cost of the trip is $265 and the dates are January 13 - 16.
